An episode presented by NZEI in Wellington Access Radio's Talking Union programme.
This episode reports on the second NZEI Women's Conference, held in Christchurch in January 1990. The theme was 'Becoming Visible' which was the tiltle of the opening talk by visiting Australian feminist Dale Spender. Other keynote speakers included Rose Pere on equity, Marion Haggie on the Treaty of Waitangi, Rosslyn Noonan - NZEI President, and Joan Paske - former NZEI President. The programme includes an interview with Pat Collings, a member of the NZEI National Executive.
